Calling for a climate emergency begins with breaking the deafening silence in which the ecological catastrophy is unfolding in front of us. Take part in "Raise Your Voice In Public Space", to take the leap and make your voice heard.

PART 1 - (Wednesday 17 April +) Friday 19 April, 19h until 21h
@ Hybrid Studios - 111, Rue de l'Intendant, 1080 Brussels

We gather in a rehearsal studio to write our personal statements about what we believe should be most urgently said, known and done about the situation. We rehearse speaking these short speeches out loud and clear to get ready for Part 2.

PART 2 - Saturday 20 April, 13h until 17h
MEETING POINT: 13h sharp, under the giant plastic umbrella on Place Rogier

Together we go through Brussels and deliver our individual speeches to a public which didn't ask for it. A whole afternoon of roaming through the subways, shopping malls and café terraces to break the indifference to our looming extinction.

PARTIE 1 - (mercredi 17 avril) + vendredi 19 avril, de 19h à 21h

Réunion dans un studio de répétition pour établir ce que chacun de nous considère être la chose la plus urgente à dire, savoirt ou faire dans la situation actuelle. Chacun formule sa propre version en une courte déclaration écrite et nous nous entraînons à déclamer ces mico-discours pour être prêts pour la partie 2.

PARTIE 2 - samedi 20 avril, de 13h à 17h
RENDEZ-VOUS: 13h précises, sous le champignon géant en plastic de la place Rogier

Nous parcourons Bruxelles ensemble et déclamons nos discours à un public qui n'a pas demandé à les entendre. Un après-midi de dérive à travers métros, centres commerciaux et terrasses de café, pour briser l'indifférence qui entoure notre extinction imminente.

De klimaatnoodtoestand uitroepen begint met het doorbreken van de oorverdovende stilte waarmee de ecologische catastrofe zich voor ons ontvouwt. Neem deel aan "Verhef Je Stem In De Publieke Ruimte", om de sprong te wagen en je stem te laten horen.

DEEL 1 - (woensdag 17 april) + vrijdag 19 april, 19u-21u

We verzamelen in een repetitiestudio om onze persoonlijke verklaringen uit te schrijven: wat moet er het dringendst gezegd, bekend en gedaan worden aan de situatie. We oefenen samen om deze korte toespraken op een zo luid en duidelijke manier uit te spreken, ter voorbereiding op Deel 2.

DEEL 2 - zaterdag 20 april, 13u tot 17u.
MEETING POINT: om 13u stipt onder de gigantische plastic paraplu aan het Rogierplein

Samen gaan we door Brussel en geven we onze individuele toespraken aan een publiek dat er niet om gevraagd heeft. We brengen de hele namiddag door in metro's, winkelcentra en caféterrassen om de onverschilligheid tegenover de nakende uitsterving te doorbreken.
